Semiconductor announces Multi Million Euro Deal
Milan,
Italy
Solar Semiconductor, an international
company with offices in Sunnyvale, CA, USA and
Hyderabad, India, is pleased to announce that it has
signed a deal for the supply of its high quality PV
modules to a European customer during the 22 nd
European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and
Exhibition 2007 in Milan, Italy.
This
deal is worth about 10.0 million Euros and will be
delivered during 2007 and beginning of 2008.
Discussions are in progress for multi year supply of
several additional megawatts. Solar Semiconductor has
also recently signed long term supply contracts for
high quality A grade cells from world’s leading cell
manufacturers to fulfill the delivery on time. Product
will be manufactured in Solar Semiconductor’s state
of the art module manufacturing facility.
Announcing from the Conference in Milan Italy, Hari
Surapaneni, Chief Executive Officer of
Solar Semiconductor commented- "Europe is the
major market for PV modules and we are very happy to
receive our major deal from Europe. Our focus on high
quality coupled with our commitment to the needs of
the customer is the primary reason for winning this
